So many words have been written and told, and still poets do not tire to invent attributes to do justice to its unique, ever-varying magnificence. Namibia is known for its contrasting landscapes. The desolate Namib Desert is said to be the oldest in the world, with its high dunes and awe-inspiring sense of space.
A dry climate with sunny blue skies most of the year. September to April the temperatures may vary from 15-35 degrees Celsius. May to August ranges from 7 – 28 degrees. The coastal areas are generally slightly cooler. Rainfall is infrequent and irregular, occurring mainly in November, February and March.
